While we strive to offer a unique educational program for our students, we know what makes high school special for many students are the social events that accompany the educational experience. These experiences create memories that students will hold for many years to come.
CORE Butte High School has an active ASB class that includes executive officers, commissioners, and student representatives. These students work together to provide dances, social events, spirit weeks, and other opportunities for students to enjoy. Our ASB students also actively work to support our community through events such as canned food drives, Pennies for Patients, and annual Blood Drives.
Students who are enrolled in an Agriculture class are members of the FFA. This is an active organization at our school that holds monthly meetings for all members. Student officers run meetings, social events, and spirit weeks. CORE Butte's FFA members attend leadership conferences, state and national conventions, regional competitions, and livestock events. The FFA provides a great opportunity for students to learn important leadership skills that will translate to any future career.
At CORE Butte High School clubs are student-driven. Each semester students can apply to start a club. The goal of student clubs is to provide welcoming opportunities for students to gather and explore common interests. Some of our past clubs include Literary Club, Travel Club, and Ignite. Students interested in starting a club should contact the ASB advisor or an ASB representative.
CORE Butte High School graduates over 100 students each year. This important milestone is marked by a traditional ceremony with some personalized twists as we celebrate the accomplishments of each of our graduates. Our graduation is held at the Neighborhood Church Dome just across the parking lot from our resource center location.
